Who we are

unbreak.repair is run by Unbreak Mobile Repair LLC, a Mississippi limited liability company (mailing address: 901 N State St #4164, Jackson, MS 39202, United States). A repair request goes to a local shop in the Unbreak network. That shop and Unbreak Mobile Repair LLC use the information below to quote, carry out and follow your repair.

What we collect

What you give us:

• Your name, your phone number, and your email address when you give one.
• Where we should come, or that you will drop the device off. If you choose to use your current location, your browser shares your position once, for that request.
• Your device (brand and model), what is wrong with it, and any photos you add.
• If you create an account: your email address, your name and a password, which we store only in scrambled (hashed) form.
• If you agree to text messages: the exact wording you saw, its version, your phone number, the date and time, and the network (IP) address the request came from. We keep this as proof of your consent.

Cookies and logs

Our servers and hosting providers keep the usual technical logs: IP address, browser, pages requested. When you sign in, we set a session cookie so that you stay signed in.

We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and this site does not take payment card details.

How we use it

• To contact you about your repair by phone, by email and, only if you agreed, by text message.
• To quote, schedule and carry out the repair, and to let you follow it from a link or from your account.
• To keep the request form from being abused.
• To keep the records we must keep, and to show when and how you agreed to text messages.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Text messages

We send text messages about your repair only if you tick the box that asks for them on the request form. The terms of that program, including how to stop it, are in the SMS program terms.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone, except the provider that delivers the messages for us.

Who we share it with

Only as much as it takes to do what you asked:

• The Unbreak shop that handles your repair.
• Providers that process it only on our behalf: Twilio (text messages), Resend (email), Vercel and Railway (hosting), Cloudflare (network protection and the storage of photos you add) and Mapbox (maps and address search).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep a repair record for as long as we need it to carry out the repair, answer warranty questions and meet our tax and accounting duties. Proof of text-message consent is kept for as long as we may need to show it. After that we delete the information or make it anonymous.

Your choices

• Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.
• Ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to what the law requires us to keep.
• Ask us to close your account.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit who can read repair records. No method is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that ours is.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

When we change this policy, we change the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use your phone number for text messages, we ask you again before we use it that way.
